A novel and delightful category, Pet Dog Show Section

We are delighted to be holding another ‘Pet’ Dog show following the successful first events in 2009 and 2010. Especially for your best friend, all dogs are welcome, pedigree or non pedigree. There will be a few pedigree classes but will mostly be fun classes such as waggiest tail, handsomest dog, prettiest bitch, best trick, best biscuit catcher, junior handler etc, details below

The Dog display area will be showing demonstrations of agility, flyball and Rally as well as a little obedience, come along with your dog and have a go at some of the sports and also enter into the pet dog show

Come along and show Goosnargh and Longridge your dog is a ‘Scrufts’ winner as well as your best friend.

Pet Dog Classes

1. Any variety puppy (6 -12 months)	11. Mismatched Pair
2. Any variety hound or terrier type	12. Dog most like its owner
3. Any variety gun dog type	13. Waggiest tail
4. Any variety working pastoral type	14. Dog the judge would most like to take home
5. Any variety utility or Toy (not utility or terrier)	15. Best condition
6. Junior handler (up to 10 years)	16. Best rescue
7. Junior handler (11 - 16 years)	17. Most handsome dog
8. Any veteran (over 7 years)	18. Prettiest bitch
9. Best biscuit catcher	19. Best local bitch (within 8 miles from show)
10. Best trick	20. Best local dog (within 8 miles from show)

Prizes in every class
Rosettes 1st – 5th place, there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each class.

1^st - Bag of Luaths dog food and £5 voucher
2^nd – Treat bag and £5 Luaths voucher
3^rd – Pack of dog treats

(Please ensure junior handlers have an appropriate size dog and are capable of handling it)
