Art and craft by children and young people aged upto 17 years

I (Jane Turner) have organised the Junior Section for a while now. On Show Day, the display of well over 1,400 pieces of art and craft, stuck, painted, drawn and created by children and young people is always breathtaking. Each year the classes are different so please check you have this year’s Schedule.
I am hugely encouraged and grateful that all the primary and high schools in Goosnargh and Longridge enter class work as well as many of the pre-school settings and also individual families. The Show is an important community event to support and the hard work is really appreciated and everyone is so complimentary on Show Day. Thank you.
There have been some really interesting entries over the years. The group projects are always fabulous. This year come and see which scenes from British History have been chosen. The Junior Tent will be the only place you can see a spaceship, Cinderella’s ball gown, a “recipe for disaster” and the congratulations cards for the Royal baby!
If it is not yet early July grab a 2013 schedule, contact me, pay the 10p entry fee and get busy! If you are reading this on Show Day – come to the Junior Tent and be amazed.
